Research Interests:
My research interests are computer vision, image processing, and machine learning. Within these areas I focus on:- Automatic extraction and recognition of objects in a scene
- Event recognition
- Illumination insensitive recognition of objects with different materials properties such as matte, specular, transparent and their combinations
- Photometric image matching
- 3D recovery/modeling and image based rendering
